Working outside of time in a studio on Turrbal land Amber lovingly crafts rich marquetry and oil paintings that invoke the stillness of this liminal and sacred space. ‘The world within and the world without’ weaves a transcendent narrative in her work as she introspectively contemplates the life within and the world at large as being inexplicably entwined.
Evocative of the silent and the unseen, her interior landscapes serve as meditations on stillness—places where thought lingers and meaning is not declared, but discovered. Through her work, Amber cultivates a space where the visible world and the felt experience coexist—carefully composed, quietly unsettled, and deeply human.
